In Los Angeles’ Mar Vista neighborhood, what began as a straightforward kitchen remodel soon cultivated a full transformation bringing balance to this capacious 2500 sf organic-modern home. First, a reimagined floor plan shifted and removed existing walls to harmonize the layout of living areas and allow for optimal kitchen functionality. The design for this space was rooted both in our clients’ proclivity for playing hosts – space for cooking and entertaining of utmost significance- and their penchant for the sumptuous, showcasing elevated materials and a tactile art collection. Custom cabinetry, storage and rugs harmonize with one of a kind pieces and modern makers while new French white oak floors throughout unify the design.
